The Battle of the Bowls Chili Cook-Off was a great success! Thank you to everyone who participated and joined us for a day of fun, fellowship and FOOD.
Attendees were treated to the comedy stylings of Dan Mahoney, followed by a panel on General Service led by GSR Education Chair Amy H. Panelists Katie L (Easy Does It– Dist 4), John H (Men Who Trudge–Dist 4) and Jenn W (Lakeshore Group– Dist. 16) shared their personal stories and participated in a Q and A session, fielding questions from the those in attendance.
Wrapping up the event, nine Home Groups contributed ten chilis for our tasting pleasure. There was something for everyone- from mild to spicy; traditional, vegetarian, white chicken chili, turkey chili… a delicious variety! The winning teams won chef’s aprons.

-Third Prize went to How it Works.
Other participants included Step Action, Searching for Serenity, Daily Reflections, Spiritual Progress, Thursday Women’s Literature Group and Women Making the Effort.
